Maxwell Carpenter

IB Physics Teacher  | IB Group 4 Coordinator  |  Interdisciplinary Educator 

Maxwell Carpenter is an IB Physics teacher, interdisciplinary educator, and curriculum designer with international teaching experience across the U.S., Italy, and China. Raised overseas as the son of two international educators and as a former IB student, he brings lived experience and cultural fluency to his work with third-culture students. With an academic background in experimental physics research and a passion for philosophy, history, and global culture, Maxwell teaches with both scientific rigor and humanistic depth. He has taught IB, AP, and IGCSE physics, currently serves his school as a Group 4 Project Coordinator, and has presented at COBIS conferences and INSET training days on values-based, interdisciplinary science education.
