Designed and Led the IB Group 4 Collaborative Project for 80+ students, challenging them to tackle 8 global issues ranging from climate change to AI ethics
Students stepped into the roles of scientists, policymakers, and innovators, designing real-world interventions like policy proposals, prototypes, and research plans.
Students actively planned future careers and paths of study, driven by societal impact, personal meaning and purpose, turning science into a tool for shaping the world.
Culminated in digital posters and presentations that showcased collaborative, interdisciplinary solutions with authentic global relevance.

Energy Revolutions Project

Connecting IB Physics to History, Economics, and Culture

Students to investigate how breakthroughs in energy — from agriculture to the splitting of the atom, have driven technological revolutions that have transformed civilization.
Students presented their revolutions in chronological order, revealing how scientific advancements have reshaped our economies, cultures, and ways of life all the way from the dawn of civilization to the present day.
The project embodies my approach to interdisciplinary science education — revealing physics not as isolated knowledge, but as something alive, relevant, and world-shaping, deepening students’ understanding of how science connects to humanity’s story and future.

Co-Curricular Unit Plan Targeting Integrated Worldview Formation

Co-designed and taught an 6th grade interdisciplinary Myth and Science unit that brought astronomy, myth, psychology and archetype into dialogue — using creation stories, big bang cosmology and global myths to explore how humans have sought to understand the universe.
Students examined science as the study of what the universe is, how it works, and how it has evolved over time, and myth as a guide to how we should live, find meaning, and pass down models of virtue and character.
The unit clarified the complementary scope and value of each discipline, helping students see that scientific and mythic ways of knowing are not in conflict but together offer a richer, more integrated understanding of reality.
